Republican County Chairman Appoints half of Central Committee that Does not Vote!
Majority of Republican Central Committee members recruited by Stainbrook didn’t vote in November Election
Republican Governor John Kasich and the Ohio GOP may not care that over half of the Lucas County Republican Party Central Committee (LCRP-CC) members recruited by Jon Stainbrook did not vote in the November General Election.
This is the quality of Chairman Stainbrook reign over the Lucas County Republican Party: Half of the people he recruited didn’t even vote in November (see list below)
If you’re a loyal Lucas County Republican concerned with the future growth and welfare of the Republican party, this should be alarming.
Republican County Chairman Jon Stainbrook recruited them, filled out all their paperwork, gathered their signatures, placed them on the ballot, and they were elected by their neighborhood Republicans to represent them in the Lucas County Central Committee.
The Central Committee member is the foundation of the party, everything is then built on that foundation. This explains why the Lucas County Republican Party is in shambles, Republican Chairman Jon Stainbrook builds the Lucas County Republican Party on a foundation that doesn’t even take the time to vote in an election.
Whats sad, the Ohio GOP continues to endorse and support Jon Stainbrook as one of their leaders.
We can understand why some didn’t bother to vote, because as shown in this audio, one of Stainbrook’s Republican Central Committee members didn’t even know who “Kasich” was. (READ HERE)
These are people that Republican Chairman Jon Stainbrook recruited from bars, night clubs, concerts, and God knows where else to represent the Republican Party in their neighborhoods and precincts. Jon Stainbrook’s crew collected their candidate petition signatures, with accusations that signatures were being collected on blank petitions (READ HERE). In all, Stainbrook’s crews submitted over 270 Candidate petition packets for people they put on the ballot, most running for the Republican Party Central Committee. (READ HERE). Many of these Stainbrook candidates were run against active Republicans who would not support Stainbrook.
In April 2014, there was testimony provided to the Ohio’s Secretary of State that Stainbrook Associate Meghan Gallagher, then director of the Lucas County BOE, had intentionally delayed publishing the official 2014 primary election candidate list specifically to thwart Republican candidates who wished to oppose or challenge Stainbrook candidates in the May election. (READ HERE) In April 2014, the four member board replaced Gallagher as the Lucas County BOE Director. (READ HERE)
Following the May 2014 LCRP-CC, a review of the election records shows another interesting piece of information, 75% of the Jon Stainbrooks Republican party Central Committee candidates voted by Absentee ballot. (READ HERE)
These Central Committee Representatives also have one very important job, They select the Executive Committee and in turn the County Party Chairman at the bi-ennual “Re-Organization” meeting.
We were unsuccessful in gaining access to the Lucas County Republican Party attendance records for the June 2014 Re-organization meeting, but our analysis of video and photographs support our theory that these 102 people did show up to vote for Jon Stainbrook as the Republican Party Chairman at that meeting.
It appears as if Jon Stainbrook recruited these people for one purpose, to show up at that Re-organization meeting and cast a vote for him as the party chairman.
Sadly, this reflects on the quality of Republican Party in Lucas County and perhaps the Ohio GOP.
The Ohio Secretary of State fired Jon Stainbrook from the Lucas County Board of Directors with accusation of Election tampering. (READ HERE) and (READ HERE)
Even after all this taking place in Lucas County, the Ohio GOP continued its full support of Jon Stainbrook. Ohio GOP Chairman Matt Borges denied and ignored countless requests for assistance from Lucas County Republicans to intervene in this problem. In July 2014, the Ohio GOP continued to support Jon Stainbrook when they ignored the law and refused to schedule a hearing when two Republican organizations claimed they were the “Official Representative” of the Republican Party in Lucas County (READ HERE) and (READ HERE)
SUMMARY
Jon Stainbrook will continue his stranglehold on Lucas County Republican party as long as he continues his unethical recruitment of people that know nothing about the party and are recruited specifically to vote for him at the re-organization meetings. The Ohio GOP seems happy with this arrangement, perhaps they encourage this type of recruitment for all their county chairman.
A CHALLENGE FOR LUCAS COUNTY REPUBLICANS
If Lucas County Republicans wish to unseat Stainbrook from the Chairmanship, they will need to simply outnumber Stainbrook at the re-organization meetings, as the Ohio GOP has a proven track record of ignoring the laws and supporting whomever they wish.
You must do your best to recruit good quality Republicans that will represent the party, You will need a Representative in each of the 350 plus precincts.
If you are not able to recruit someone who will work for the party and support the party, you will need to revert to the same low standard that Jon Stainbrook uses, recruit a warm body that will show up at the re-org meeting and vote for you.
This will be a lot of work, you will need to collect their signatures, put them on the ballot, do their request for an absentee ballot, and make sure you go to their house, help them fill in the ballot, and pay for the postage to mail it in. You will probably need to drive over and pick them up for the re-organization meeting to ensure they show up and vote for you.
Then and only then will you be able to finally unseat Stainbrook and bring back a respectable Republican Party leadership in Lucas County.
UPDATE:
The Ohio GOP continues to support Jon Stainbrook. We can only assume that if enough Counties work to recapture the majority, then and only then will changes also be made at the Ohio GOP.

Congratulation to New Speaker
Dear Speaker Rosenberger,
I am writing to congratulate you on your election as Speaker of the Ohio House. I understand in Cincinnati today that you emphatically stated that you were not “the Governor’s man” and that you would make your own decisions as Speaker. I assure you that I will be the first to send out a Press Release praising you as a man of your word, when we see you actually stand up to the Governor on an important issue like Common Core, Religious Freedom, the Severance Tax, etc.
Let me also say that, while those in the political class clearly have no idea what I or the TEA Party movement are about, I can assure you that all we want from you as Speaker is for the voices of our duly elected Representatives to be heard in the People’s House. Conservative or liberal, Democrat or Republican, majority or minority, they all deserve to be heard and to have the chance to make their case for the people in their district. They many not have the money or the political clout to win their point, which is another issue all together, but by God you as Speaker can at least insure that they get to make it. All to often in recent memory that has not been the case. It is our sincere hope that the Ohio House under your leadership will not be the “Siberian Death Camp” it has been in the past for all those Republicans and Democrats who dared to have their own views, ideas and opinions that do no agree with the Governor’s.
Governor Kasich just warned Republicans in December by saying “I’m going to have a whole lot more to say to those who stand in my way.” We will see if you as House Speaker can get through the Governor’s thin skin that it is not about his way and help him understand that there is no “my way” in Representative Government. Everyone has a right to participate, not just take orders. If you can accomplish that you will truly be one of great Speakers in Ohio History. We are hoping and praying that will be the case. All the best to you and your team.
