The Truth about Tax Reform

Do not buy the lefty lies of Sanders, Pelosi and Schumer!
Here is a clue: Corporations don’t pay taxes – their customers pay their taxes when they buy their products!
So when you cut corporate taxes from 35% to 21% that is a tax cut for the MIDDLE CLASS!

Did the FBI and the Justice Department, plot to clear Hillary Clinton, bring down Trump?

There is strong circumstantial evidence that an insidious plot unprecedented in American history was hatched within the FBI and the Obama Justice Department to help elect Hillary Clinton and defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

And when this apparent effort to improperly influence the election did not succeed, the suspected conspirators appear to have employed a fraudulent investigation of President Trump in an attempt to undo the election results and remove him as president.

Such a Machiavellian scheme would move well beyond what is known as the “deep state,” a popular reference to government employees who organize in secret to impose their own political views on government policy in defiance of democratically elected leadership.

However, this apparent plot to keep Trump from becoming president and to weaken and potentially pave the way for his impeachment with a prolonged politically motivated investigation – if proven – would constitute something far more nefarious and dangerous.

Such a plot would show that partisans within the FBI and the Justice Department, driven by personal animus and a sense of political righteousness, surreptitiously conspired to subvert electoral democracy itself in our country.

As of now, we have no proof beyond a reasonable doubt of such a plot. But we have very strong circumstantial evidence.

And as the philosopher and writer Henry David Thoreau wrote in his journal in 1850: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.”

Newly revealed text messages about the apparent anti-Trump plot are the equivalent of a trout in the milk. It smells fishy.

The Plans

The mainstream media and Democrats dismiss talk of an anti-Trump conspiracy by the FBI and Justice Department as right-wing nonsense – paranoid fantasies of Trump supporters with no basis in facts. But there are plenty of facts that lay out a damning case based on circumstantial evidence.

Recently disclosed text messages between FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page suggest there may have been two parts of the apparent anti-Trump plot.

“Part A” was to devise a way to exonerate Clinton, despite compelling evidence that she committed crimes under the Espionage Act in her mishandling of classified documents on her private email server.

Absolving Clinton cleared the way for her to continue her candidacy at a time when all polls and just about every pundit predicted she would be elected president in November 2016. If Clinton had been charged with crimes she would likely have been forced to drop her candidacy, and if she remained in the race her candidacy would have been doomed.

But “Part A” of the apparent anti-Trump plot was not enough. A back-up plan would be prudent. It seems the Obama Justice Department and FBI conjured up a “Part B” just in case the first stratagem failed. This would be even more malevolent – manufacturing an alleged crime supposedly committed by Trump where no crime exists in the law.

And so, armed with a fictitious justification, a criminal investigation was launched into so-called Trump-Russia “collusion.” It was always a mythical legal claim, since there is no statute prohibiting foreign nationals from volunteering their services in American political campaigns.

More importantly, there was never a scintilla of evidence that Trump collaborated with Russia to influence the election.

No matter. The intent may have been to sully the new president while searching for a crime to force him from office.

But thanks to the discovery of text messages, circumstantial evidence has been exposed.

The Texts

The text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page, who were romantically involved, confirm a stunning hostility toward Trump, calling him an “idiot” and “loathsome.”

At the same time, the texts were filled with adoring compliments of Clinton, lauding her nomination and stating: “She just has to win now.”

One text between Strzok and Page dated Aug. 6, 2016 stands out and looks like the proverbial smoking gun.

Page: “And maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace.” (This is clearly a reference to a Trump presidency).

Strzok:  “Thanks. And of course I’ll try and approach it that way. I can protect our country at many levels .…”

It is reasonable to conclude that Strzok had already taken steps to “protect” the country from what he considered would be a dangerous and harmful Trump presidency.

Just one month earlier, then-FBI Director James Comey had announced he would recommend that no criminal charges be filed by the Justice Department against Clinton. Given all the incriminating evidence against Clinton, Comey’s view that she should not be prosecuted made no sense by any objective standard.

This is where Strzok played a pivotal role. As the lead investigator in the Clinton email case, he is the person who changed the critical wording in Comey’s description of Clinton’s handling of classified material, substituting “extremely careless” for “gross negligence.”

As I explained in an earlier column, this alteration of two words had enormous consequences, because it allowed Clinton to evade prosecution. This removed the only legal impediment to her election as president.

Documents made available by the Senate Homeland Security Committee also show that Comey intended to declare that the sheer volume of classified material on Clinton’s server supported the “inference” that she was grossly negligent, which would constitute criminal conduct. Yet this also was edited out, likely by Strzok, to avoid finding evidence of crimes.

This seems to be what Page and Strzok meant when they discussed his role as protector of the republic. It appears that Strzok was instrumental in clearing Clinton by rewriting Comey’s otherwise incriminating findings.

Were Page and Strzok also referring to the investigation of Trump that was begun in July 2016, right after Clinton was absolved?  After all, Strzok was the agent who reportedly signed the documents launching the bureau’s Trump-Russia probe. And he was a lead investigator in the case before jumping to Robert Mueller’s special counsel team.

If there is any doubt that Strzok and Page sought to undermine the democratic process, consider this cryptic text about their “insurance policy” against the “risk” of a Trump presidency.

Strzok:  “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office – that there’s no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.…”

The reference to “Andy” is likely Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who was also supervising the investigation of Clinton’s emails at the same time his wife was receiving roughly $675,000 in campaign money in her race for elective office in Virginia from groups aligned with Clinton.

What was the “insurance policy” discussed in Andy’s office? Was it the FBI’s investigation of Trump and his associates?  Or was it the anti-Trump “dossier” that may have been used by the FBI and the Justice Department as the basis for a warrant to wiretap and spy on Trump associates? Perhaps it was both.

The Dossier

The “dossier” was a compendium of largely specious allegations about Trump, compiled by the opposition research firm Fusion GPS. The dossier was funded by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Comey called it “salacious and unverified.”

Various congressional committees suspect the dossier was illegally used to place a Trump campaign associate, Carter Page, under foreign surveillance. When asked about that on Wednesday during a hearing on Capitol Hill, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein refused to answer, which sounds like an implicit “yes.”

Using a dubious, if not phony, document in support of an affidavit to obtain a warrant from a federal judge constitutes a fraud upon the court, which is a crime.

The dossier scandal recently ensnared Bruce Ohr, a top Justice Department official, who was demoted last week for concealing his meetings with the men behind the document.

Ohr’s wife worked for Fusion GPS. This created a disqualifying conflict of interest for Mr. Ohr. He was legally obligated under Justice Department regulations to recuse himself from the Mueller investigation of Russia’s role in the election, but he did not.

Congress needs to find out whether the dossier was exploited as a pretext for initiating the Russia probe against President Trump. It would also be unconscionable, if not illegal, for the FBI and Justice Department to use opposition research funded by Clinton’s campaign to spy on her opponent or his campaign.

Both agencies have been resisting congressional subpoenas and other demands for answers, which smacks of a cover-up. Since the Justice Department cannot be trusted to investigate itself, a second special counsel should be appointed.

This new counsel should also reopen the Clinton email case and investigate the conduct of Strzok, Page, Comey and others who may have obstructed justice by exonerating Clinton in the face of substantial evidence that she had committed crimes.

If Strzok or anyone else allowed their political views to shape the investigations of either Clinton or Trump and dictate the outcomes, that is a felony for which they should be prosecuted.

The Mueller investigation is now so tainted with the appearance of corruption that it has lost credibility and the public’s trust.

It is very much like a trout in the spoiled milk.

Support those who Support US!

Let’s Learn from the Left’s Tactics and Use them
to Give Support to those who Support US!

It is a FACT that the MAIN reason the Communist/Socialist Left, which is a small minority in America, has been so successful in pushing it’s policies and taking over so many of our institutions, is because they figured out long ago how to get make us pay to fund their attacks upon us! Through forced union dues that go exclusively to Democrats and the Left, to federal and state “grants” to Planned Parenthood, MoveOn.org, Acorn etc, to the Obama Justice Department directing hundreds of millions of dollars in fines from Banks and Wall Street firms to be given ONLY to leftist groups, instead of being paid to reduce our federal debt, WE are forced to fund our own enemies and their efforts to destroy our Constitutional Republic!!! While the Trump Administration has ended the Obama practice of “redirecting” fines to leftist groups, little else has changed and we are still funding our enemies while having few resources to fund our conservative movement.

With one exception!

Ohio has a law that says that any citizen can donate up to $50 per person, or $100 per couple, to any state elected official or person running for state office and get a dollar-for-dollar TAX CREDIT off your state income taxes!  Now, I ask you, would you rather have your hard earned $50 or $100 forcibly take from you through taxation by Democrat Governor John Kasich to throw away on Medicare Expansion, or would you rather deny him some of your money and instead give it to one of the few real conservatives in our state who is fighting to pass legislation that supports our conservative values???  Easy answer isn’t it!  It’s a “no-brainer”, you have to pay it anyway in your taxes if you don’t do this, so why not donate it instead to help our cause?

This Christmas I ask you to give to one or more of the people below, or any other state candidate you like, to help them get re-elected, or to win office again, so that they can help support our causes. (Just remember you can only take your Tax Credit up to a TOTAL of $50/$100 on your state taxes – not $50/$100 for each candidate.) I can tell you for a fact that they really appreciate your support. Plus, I think that we need to thank them for fighting so hard for things like freezing Medicare Expansion, attempting to pass the Pastor’s Protection Act and the Heartbeat bill, and protecting our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights – because they are always in the minority and the establishment is always attacking them for trying to pass conservative legislation that We the People want our government to implement!

Just pick the person(s) you want to support, click on their picture, and make a donation. Then give the receipt to your accountant at tax time so it can be deducted from your state income tax as a Tax Credit.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR DONATION BY DECEMBER 31, 2017 IN ORDER TO TAKE THE TAX CREDIT ON YOUR 2017 TAXES!

ORP Central Committee Votes Not to Endorse

PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: Friday, December 1, 2017

OHIO REPUBLICAN PARTY VOTES TO PROTECT PRIMARY PROCESS

Akron, OH – Tom Zawistowski, President of the Ohio Citizens PAC, today offered his congratulations to the 66 men and women representatives elected to the Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee, and ORP Chairwoman Jane Timken, for their votes today to protect the primary election process. At the state meeting held today in Columbus, OH the committee debated if they should endorse Republican candidates two months before the filing deadline of February 7, 2018 and decided not to do so. Zawistowski also offered his appreciation to Republican Governor Candidates Jim Renacci and Mary Taylor, both of whom announced yesterday that they would stay in the race for Ohio Governor despite the major announcement that Mike DeWine and Jon Husted were joining forces to run on the same ticket.

Zawistowski said, “Yesterday we implored member of the Republican State Central Committee to do the right thing and not endorse anyone at their meeting today. In our opinion doing so would have sent a message to voters that the party was picking winners and losers and rigging the election for select candidates. To their credit, and thanks to the skillful leadership of ORP Chairwoman Jane Timken, the members of the state central committee debated the issue and agreed that endorsing now would send the wrong message to voters and decided not to endorse. That was the right thing to do and is a good sign that at least the Republican Party is learning from past mistakes and listening to the voters who want an open and honest elections process, including in the primaries. The citizens of Ohio thank them for their responsible actions today.”

Zawistowski concluded by saying, “We also want to thank Jim Renacci and Mary Taylor for listening to our encouragement yesterday and deciding to stay in the Ohio Governor’s race, giving voters a choice in the primary in addition to the DeWine/Husted ticket. That is the way it should be. We look forward to watching the race as it unfolds over the months ahead to see who will win the support of the people. We sincerely hope that the Democrat candidates for Ohio Governor will do the same after the expected announcement next week that Richard Cordray will enter the Democratic Primary race.”

DeWine-Husted Ticket Shows Contempt for Primary Process

HUSTED JOINING WITH DEWINE IN OHIO GOVERNORS RACE SHOWS CONTEMPT FOR PRIMARY PROCESS

Akron, OH – Tom Zawistowski, President of the Ohio Citizens PAC, expressed his concern with the expected announcement today that Republican’s Mike DeWine and Jon Husted will form a single ticket with DeWine being the Governor candidate and Husted being the Lieutenant Governor candidate. Zawistowski said, “While we understand that this type of move makes sense from an economic and political stand point, and that it has a lot to do with the expected announcement next week that Richard Cordray will finally announce that he is running for Governor on the Democratic side, however, doing so shows contempt for the primary process and confirms all that voters feel is wrong with our political system. The system in both political parties is clearly rigged. The ruling/donor class decides who gets on the ballot and who does not and the voters are basically told that they can “vote for anyone you want” as long as it is one of the candidates the ruling class “allows” to be on the ballot. That is no choice at all, and that is not representative government. This is another attempt to rig the election and shows that both parties simply have learned nothing from the outrage citizens felt by the way Bernie Sanders was cheated in 2016 and how the ruling/donor class has continued it’s attempts to destroy Donald Trump and invalidate the votes of 62 million Americans. This is a very disappointing move by both candidates.”

Zawistowski continued, “We are urging Jim Renacci and Mary Taylor to stay in the Republican governors race so as not to allow the establishment once again to decide who the candidate for Governor will be without regular citizens having any say in the matter. The same goes for the Democratic side. While Judge O’Neill has already said he will drop out of the Democratic race if Cordray runs, there are concerns that the other candidates will also drop out. Doing so would leave voters with no choices at the polls in the May 2018 primary. We urge the other Democratic candidates to stay in the race.”

Zawistowski concluded, “Both parties have already deployed this scorched earth policy in the down ticket races with only one candidate officially on the ballot for each party in the Attorney General, Secretary of State, Auditor and Treasurer races.  Fortunately, it looks like Sandy O’Brien is going to step up and challenge in the Republican Primary for Treasurer and we have been working to recruit additional candidates to compete for the other state offices on the Republican side. However, now we are hearing that this Friday, the Ohio Republican State Central Committee is planning to endorse in all the down ticket races and we are concerned that the DeWine/Husted move was designed to orchestrate a state party endorsement for them on Friday. Endorsing ANYONE two months before the filing deadline of February 7, 2018 is outrageous and unacceptable. We urge all Republican State Central Committee members to vote down any attempt to do so, as the only reason to endorse now is to try and stop anyone else from joining these races. Doing so will only prove what everything citizen hates about both parties is true and will encourage citizens to look for other alternatives in 2018.”

Dear Editor,

I am writing this letter in response to your opinion piece posted on November 12, 2017 titled “Editorial: Elections pluses and minuses.” In the first paragraph you state that I communicated “clearly false information” concerning the levies on the ballot on November 7th.  Let me point out that what I communicated was not false, and was not intended to be false, it was based on what was stated in the legal statement of the actual ballot language. The ballot language fails to differentiate between “Appraised Value” vs “Assessed Value.” The Appraised value is what your home is worth on the open market, the Assessed value is what the county appraises your home at for tax purposes.

In the ballot language for Field for instance, the legal statement on the ballot issue says “Tax being an additional tax of 8.3 mills at a rate not exceeding 8.3 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 83 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2017, first due in calendar year 2018.” Is it for each dollar of the Appraised valuation or Assessed valuation of the property being taxed? It is not clearly stated. I think we all can agree that the ballot language, which is actually dictated by the state all the way down to words that can be used and even what type size can be used, is anything but transparent. Instead of helping to inform on the issue so voters know what they are voting for or against, it is designed to obfuscate by using language not commonly used to discuss property value. Stating property valuation in terms of cents per $100 dollars in valuation is like describing gas milage by the cost in cents to drive 100 feet.

How about adding some perspective as well. They are always talking about how little the additional tax is, but they don’t tell the voter what the total cost actually is in their community!  While the new levy for a fitness center in Kent, which thankfully failed, would add “just” $172.80 per year in taxes to the Assessed value of a $60,000 home (worth $175,000) it would in fact raise the total taxes on that home to $4,550 per year or $379 PER MONTH!

Now I will admit that I was not specific enough in my language in our robo calls either. I did not use the words Appraised or Assessed, as I was just using the actual non-precise ballot language as the basis for the description of the new tax in our calls. However, when I said in the case of the Crestwood levy that “a person who owns a $100,000 home, or rents one, will pay $450 per year in new taxes.” That statement is true even if you insert the word “Assessed” into the statement as property with an “Appraised Value” of $285,000 would have an “Assessed Value” of $100,000 and would therefore pay an additional $450 in taxes, as I stated.

Now, since your newspaper falsely accused me of communicating “clearly false information” let’s talk about the school districts and other government entities who actually do intentionally communicate “clearly false information” when trying to pass a levy.  Your reporter, and many of those who complained about our call, took issue with my statement that these new taxes will be paid by renters as well as home owners. To your reporter’s and your newspaper’s credit, in your initial story you printed my explaination that of course renters pay these taxes because their rent must cover the total expenses involved with the rental property. However, school districts and other government agencies routinely and intentionally leave out this fact not just in the ballot language but in their presentations to the public as well. The US Census shows that 31.3% of homes in Portage County are not owner-occupied, but are renter-occupied, which is a huge block of voters – all of whom pay these taxes through their rent. However, through omission, school districts and other government agencies intentionally want these voters to believe that they can vote for these taxes to get the benefits without paying for them.  That is “clearly false.”

Then there is the other “minus” from the election where, in your opinion, tax payers “claim they can’t afford any tax increase”, as if there is no evidence to support their position, and you opine that “there has to be a better way to ensure our schools have proper funding.”  We do properly fund our schools and have all our lives, but we simply can’t afford any more, and we are not getting what we pay for as far as educational outcomes. Take a look at the Report Cards for the Schools in Portage County. Even you admit in your coverage that schools have declining student enrollments and yet have increasing expenses. Why is that? How can you have less students, on whom schools are supposed to be spending our money, and have increasing expenses unless the schools are being mismanaged?

What you nor the school districts talk about is how in the past three years something like 33% of the oldest and highest paid teachers have retired because of dramatic changes in their state retirement plan.  If a teacher did not retire by last June, they could lose as much as 11% of their retirement for life based on the new rules. So, every school district in Portage County has had dozens of teachers retire who’s cost to tax payers, including $24,000 per year in health care costs in many cases among other perks, approaches or exceeds $100,000. They have been replaced with younger teachers who are paid $60,000 including benefits. This has saved each school district millions per year in costs, and where has that money gone?  Plus, with lower student enrollment, why are some of them even being replaced?  Why are classroom student sizes so small, when there is no evidence of improved student achievement?  This practice adds more teachers at our expense and provides no benefit! That is mismanagement. In the real world taxpayers live in, if you make less product, you spend less money.

Not to mention the insanity of school districts wanting to build new buildings with 30 years mortages when they have no idea what type of buildings, if any, students 25 years from now will need!  I always find it interesting when public school systems sell old buildings and Christian schools buy them up and fix them up for their purposes because buying old buildings keeps costs down compared to building new ones. We should not be building any new school buildings in Ohio today, particularly since we have seen zero improvement in educational outcomes in districts that have built new buildings. We should be modernizing our old buildings, and consolidating buildings and even school districts themselves to be more efficient with the money taxpayers already pay. The bottom line is that not only should these school districts not be asking for new levies, we should be repealing existing levies and they should be giving taxpayers some of their money back as student enrollment declines and teacher costs drop! The problem is not “proper funding” as you assert in your editorial, it is “proper management” and respect for the taxpayers’ money.

It has been said that “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.” Stop putting the same levies up over and over again. It is long past time to stop the insanity of our failed public school systems, which have not failed due to the lack of funding, but have failed because it’s focus is on creating well paying jobs for adults, instead of creating superior educational outcomes for students. This is proven by school districts like Ravenna and Crestwood who only spend 66% of the money on classroom instruction and the rest on highly paid and/or unnecessary administrators. To quote my “friends” in the teachers union every time a levy comes up “Don’t you care about the children?” It’s pretty clear our schools, not individual teachers, but the unions and the administrations, care very little about the children while caring a whole lot about themselves!

It should be noted that none of the renewal levies were defeated in Portage County because we have not yet decide to take that path. All of the increases were defeated by large margins in part thanks to our calls educating the public. Since the TEA Party began in 2009 it is estimated that the educational efforts of the Portage County TEA Party has saved Portage taxpayers as much as $14 million per year in unnecessary taxes. That is a total of $110,000,000 in savings while still providing “proper” funding for schools, cities, parks and rec and the county. We are proud to have provided these services to our community.

TEA Party Groups Settle with IRS on Targeting Charges

PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release: Thursday, October 26, 2017

IRS SETTLES WITH PORTAGE COUNTY TEA PARTY AND 35 OTHER GROUPS
ADMITS WRONGDOING AND ISSUES APOLOGY

WASHINGTON – Today, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) announced that they have agreed to settle the lawsuit brought by the Portage County TEA Party and 35 other TEA Party and conservative groups for the targeting of TEA Party Groups during the Obama Administration. In the settlement the IRS acknowledges that its treatment of the TEA Party groups was wrong, details how it has installed procedures to assure that such targeting never happens to any other Americans ever again, assured the TEA Party groups that they would not be subject to any future scrutiny by the IRS, and expressed “its sincere apology” for the way it had treated the groups.

Paragraph 40 of the Settlement states, “The IRS admits that its treatment of Plaintiffs during the tax-exempt determinations process, including screening their applications based on their names or policy positions, subjecting those applications to heightened scrutiny and inordinate delays, and demanding of some Plaintiffs’ information that TIGTA determined was unnecessary to the agency’s determination of their tax-exempt status, was wrong. For such treatment, the IRS expresses its sincere apology.”

Tom Zawistowski, Executive Director of the Portage County TEA Party said, “It has been a long and hard fight for justice. I, and the thousands of members of the Portage County TEA Party both past and present, are very gratified by the settlement agreed to today with the Internal Revenue Service. We accomplished our goals of exposing the tyranny of our government under the Obama Administration, doing something to stop it, and making sure it doesn’t happen again as I announced at our Washington press conference on May 16, 2013. Not many people can take on any government agency, let along the IRS, and win. We thank the ACLJ for the tremendous multi-year legal effort representing us in court. We thank Congressman Jim Jordan, Darrel Issa, Trey Gowdy, Senator Ted Cruz and others for stopping the attacks by the IRS after we made them aware of the Targeting. The bottom line is that, with this Settlement, no one can deny that the IRS targeted American citizens because of their political beliefs and that it was wrong to do so. They admit that, and much more, in the Settlement, just as Lois Lerner admitted it back in 2012.”

Zawistowski continued, “This process started for us in 2010 when we first applied to be a 501(c)4 tax-exempt organization. The targeting by the IRS started in 2011 right after the TEA Party had stunned the Democrats by electing 64 Republicans to take back the US House in 2010. The IRS Targeting continued right through the 2012 election and cost our organization both membership and donations as people were afraid that the IRS would come after them personally simply for being a member of the Portage County TEA Party. Other groups across the nation suffered the same damages. The goal of the Obama Administration was to use the IRS to shut down the TEA Party Movement to insure President Obama’s re-election in 2012. While they did not succeed in permanently crippling the TEA Party movement, as we proved in 2016, President Obama did manage to illegally use the force of the Federal Government to weaken us enough to narrowly win re-election with the help of a terrible Republican candidate in Mitt Romney.”

Zawistowski concluded, “It is wrong that people like Lois Lerner, Holly Paz and IRS Commissioner John Koskinen could not even be fired for their actions under the laws of the time, and in our opinion should have faced criminal charges, for what they did to thousands of American citizens who were just using their constitutionally guaranteed rights of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Since the targeting by the IRS, Congress actually passed a law, which was written by Ohio Congressman Jim Renacci, that now allows the IRS to fire any employee that inappropriately takes action against any American taxpayer. I would also note that this settlement does not affect the continuing class action law suit being brought by dozens of TEA Party Groups against the IRS that is working through the Federal District Court in Cincinnati. I am still active in that suit as a representative of the Ohio Liberty Coalition of which I was the President during the time of the targeting. Neither the suit settled today nor the one in Cincinnati gets to the reasons why the targeting was initiated by the IRS. Only a DOJ appointed Special Counsel would have the ability to truly investigate who in the Obama Administration was involved with the IRS Targeting and we are still hopeful that one day the American people will come to know the truth about this horrific abuse of government power.”

It is time to end the Corruption in the Ohio “Republican” Party

We are going Restore OUR Republican Party!

The Ohio “Republican” Party has been taken over by political operatives who sell the votes of “Republican” Politicians in the Ohio House and Senate, and in the US House and Senate, to monied special interests who want political favors.  You have NO Representation in Government, because the Ohio “Republican” Party only recruits and funds campaigns for phony “Republicans” who agree to do what the lobbyists tell the Party Leadership to do.

ORPBetrayedUS

The Ohio “Republican” Party State Central Committee only endorses incumbent “Republicans”. The Ohio “Republican” Party has no platform and does not require candidates to prove that they believe the Republican values and principles that we believe. They simply “rent” the “R” to the highest bidder and when you go to the polls to vote, you think that you are voting for a Republican when you are not. That is why 66% of all Republican votes believe that the “Republican” Leadership has “Betrayed” them. Because they have!

What are we going to do about it?

To “Restore” OUR Republican Party, we need to take back control of the County and State Central Committees. Then we can recruit and endorse only candidates who prove that they will vote or govern according to Republican values and principles when they are elected. The Ohio Citizens PAC along with other TEA Party and Conservative Organizations in the State have recruited 55 candidates to run for the 66 seats on the Republican State Central in an effort to win a majority and replace the current Chairman. We need you to vote for them in your Senate District and let everyone you know that they need to vote for them as well!

Time to DEMAND Answers!

It’s Time to Demand Accountability!

It is high time for you to demand some answers from the members of the State Central Committee who have been endorsing candidates who are not Republicans and who have used the power of the state to destroy our nation. The people on this Central Committee have given you people like John Boehner, John Kasich and Rob Portman. All of whom talked a good conservative game, but when it was time for action, they were total liberals on immigration, medicade expansion, natural marriage, raising the debt ceiling, common core and so much more.

The people resonsible for not only allowing those phony Republicans and so many more in our House and Senate and other offices to be on the ballot, but often for making sure that they are the only choices you had on the ballot are on this list below. They are responsible for your anger about being betrayed by “Republicans” you have elected and you need to hold them responsible!

It’s Time to Start Asking Questions and Demand Answers!

So, I want you to call the representative from your Senate District, or send them an email, or confront them in person and ask them these five questions:

1) Have you personally made it clear that you demand that the Ohio Republican Party  adopt the National Republican Party Platform so that the State Central Committee would have a standard by which to judge both incumbent and potential candidates?

2) Do you or anyone in your family get paid by any government agency? Does this affect the way that you vote on State Central Committee?
(We are investigating this and will expose those who do not tell you the truth.)

3) Are you a Convention Delegate for John Kasich and if so did you vote to endorse him as a member of the State Central Committee? If so, why did you not think that you had a conflict of interest in doing so, and why do you think that it was fair not  to have any other Republican Presidential Candidate considered for endorsement by the Ohio “Republican” Party?

4) Would you vote to change the ORP By-Laws so that you are no longer restricted to only endorsing incumbents, and could instead endorse the best Republican?

5) Would you vote to replace the current ORP Chairman, Matt Borges?

Call these people, and ask them these questions. Right now, you need contact your Representative and make it clear that you are NOT happy with how the Ohio “Republican” Party is run. Make sure that they understand that you know that they are responsible for allowing that to happen and you want it fixed.

Tom Zawistowski
President
